The Keep Wales Tidy team is led by Chief Executive Owen Derbyshire.
Owen has been CEO since October 2022 and is responsible for leading the delivery of Keep Wales Tidy’s strategic programmes, all of which have a positive and important impact on the environment in Wales.
He previously worked for S4C as their Director of Marketing and Digital, and before that enjoyed a career as a technology entrepreneur, working across a range of sectors.
Owen has also served as Non-Executive Director, Advisor, and Trustee of several boards including S4C, Shelter Cymru, Promo Cymru, the Welsh Language Partnership Council, the Welsh Language Technology Board, and the Legal Services Consumer Panel. He is currently a Non-Executive Member of Mudiad Meithrin’s Board of Directors.
When not leading Keep Wales Tidy, Owen enjoys spending time with his wife Sophie, daughter Efa, and dog Lili in the Vale of Glamorgan.
