Caru Cymru

A Litter Champion is someone who is actively volunteering to look after their local environment by picking up litter and reducing waste.

Our growing army of Litter Champions has shown incredible support in caring for our environment on our doorsteps.

They went above and beyond to help their local area by carrying out 7,100 clean-ups and collecting 13,550 bags of litter and recycling in the past year.

Would you like to make a difference too? Join our army of Champions!

Join our army of Champions

All our Litter Champions have one thing in common – they’re passionate about their community and want to make a difference.

We provide all the kit, support and insurance volunteers need to safely clean up the environment on their doorstep.

All we ask is that Litter Champions keep in touch, report what they collect using our eCount Cymru system and follow our safety guidance.

If you’d like to join our army of Litter Champions, please contact your local project officer.

Alternatively, find your local Litter Picking Hub.

We’d also like to thank our friends at Helping Hand Environmental for making this possible.
