Morning woodland and community Litter-Picking Prime areas.Removed fly-tipping from two small woodlands on the west and east side.Come across soil damage (pic 1), litter in the woodland also in the same area fly-tipping (pic 2) and fly-tipping soil (pic 3) which makes it hard to mow the woodland edge. One many went to mow the grass and shredding the litter (pic 6). Removed fly-tipped toys from culvert, again (pic 7). What a delightful day.Litter picked part of the West Side and Two Estate on the East Side of the community.A Great mid morning and into the afternoon. Litter Picked around the heart of the community Shopping area and Hubs.The local play park was a litter hotspot. Covers at the back of the wellbeing hub again lifted.Unusual items found in the areas. Odd selection of items found which I cleaned up plus large items reported for clean up.9 in total of keepwalestidy bags collected. A dose of vitamin sea at Aberthaw is just what I need. I met up with Liz aka bibbadeeboo to do a beach clean as part of Spring Clean Cymru with KWT. Way too much plastic waste at beach washed in by the sea and left by visitors. We did our best but the amount of plastic is overwhelming 😕.
