At Keep Wales Tidy, we firmly believe that no one is too small to make a big difference. And, when we all come together, that big difference can become huge!
If every child who attends school in Wales picks up just one bag of litter during the Great Big School Clean, we could remove an incredible 500,000 bags of litter from our natural environment.
Taking part in the Great Big School Clean is also a perfect addition to your Eco-Schools Action Plan, helping your school to achieve or retain the Green Flag award. Take a look at our Great Big School Clean Guide for more details.
You can hold a clean-up (or several clean-ups) anytime between 21 March and 6 April, collecting as much litter as you can. You might want to organise your clean-ups during playtime, lunchtime, lesson time, before school or after school — it’s totally up to you.
