This exciting training session is back for a second year and has been designed to help ensure that educators feel comfortable and confident when developing and delivering learning experiences linked to Climate Change. The course will include activities to understand the science of Climate Change and engaging ways to communicate it. We will also look at the impacts that we are seeing locally and globally and ways to reduce our personal and school-based carbon footprints. We will provide activities and ideas to use when teaching young people to facilitate understanding and inspire positive action.
The training will be split into two virtual sessions to enable participants to get the most out of the training.
Sessions will be run for Primary and Secondary educators and will run in both Welsh and English. Participants can book now for autumn or spring term dates.
All of our courses are provided free of charge and are facilitated by experienced Keep Wales Tidy Staff. All virtual training will be run through Microsoft Teams.
