Gardening for Bugs

13/03/2024 @ 17:00 - 18:00

Most bugs are crucial for biodiversity and the ecosystem. The food we eat, the birds we see, the flowers we smell and the hum of life we hear, simply would not exist without bugs.

When most people think of bugs, they think of ‘garden pests’, or ‘disgusting things’. When in fact, bugs are important to every life form on the planet, including humans, without them, we wouldn’t be able to survive.

Join us for this free webinar to learn about bugs, and how they play a key part in making our planet healthy for all.

We’ll be joined by Liam Olds, the Conservation Officer at Buglife Cymru, who will talk about the importance of bugs, and how they make a big contribution to a greener environment. He’ll take us through how we can get involved in our own gardens and green spaces and make a difference.

The online session is taking place from 17.00-18.00 on Wednesday 13 March.

Book your place by filling out the registration form below. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the webinar link. Please doublecheck your junk or spam folders if you haven’t received this. If there are any problems, please get in touch with the team. Email nature@keepwalestidy.cymru
