Learn About Behaviour Change

01/07/2024 @ 17:00 - 18:00

A good quality local environment has far-reaching benefits, impacting health and wellbeing, economic growth, anti-social behaviour and even local democracy.

Sadly, poor local environmental quality is a real and persistent problem for many communities in Wales, thanks to a small minority of people who don’t act responsibly.

How can we encourage these people to change their behaviour and do the right thing? Join our special teatime webinar to find out!

You’ll hear from our Jemma Bere, our Policy and Research Manager and qualified behaviour change practitioner.

Jemma will talk you through what we mean by behaviour change, outline the key theories, and give a brief history of the discipline and ethics involved. She’ll also showcase successful behaviour change campaigns from around the world.

You’ll have the chance to ask questions and explore how you can ‘nudge’ people to behave responsibly in your local area.

The online session, delivered in English, is taking place from 17.00-18.00 on Monday 1 July.

Book your place by filling out the registration form below. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with the webinar link. Please doublecheck your junk or spam folders if you haven’t received this. If there are any problems, please get in touch with the team. Email zoe.abbott@keepwaletidy.cymru

This is part of a series of free webinars developed specifically for environmental community groups and volunteers in Wales.
