Start fundraising today

When you fundraise for Keep Wales Tidy, you’re helping us make a real difference to the environment and communities across Wales.

Here's just a few ideas to get you started...

We’d love you to be part of Team Keep Wales Tidy! If you’re organising a fundraising event of activity, just email events@keepwalestidy.cymru or get in touch on social media.

Idea 1:

Do your own thing.

You could run a half marathon, sell your unwanted clothes and knick-knacks, or do a sponsored plog (that’s litter picking while jogging).

Idea 2:

Team up with your friends, colleagues, community group or school

You could host a ‘Tidy Tea Break’ or virtual quiz night, organise a themed litter pick or take on a workout challenge together.

Idea 3:

Nominate us as your charity of the year

This means we can work with your business, school or community group for even longer. We’ll support you all the way, helping you develop and promote your fundraising activities.

Idea 4:

Donate your business's carrier bag charge

Did you know that retailers in Wales are required to donate the profits from their carrier bag charge to environmental causes? We work with retailers of all sizes, reinvesting money back into communities and looking after the environment. We’d love you to be part of Team Keep Wales Tidy! If you’re organising a fundraising event or activity, just email events@keepwalestidy.cymru or get in touch on social media.

Fundraising Heroes

Chris ‘Pedals Against Plastic’

Chris Woodfield embarked on a cycling adventure around the coast of Wales to raise awareness of plastic pollution. As well as living plastic-free and carrying out beach clean-ups along the way, Chris raised nearly £600 for us and Surfers Against Sewage.

Sarah’s Ultimate Wales Adventure

Sarah Leighton is passionate about encouraging more people to get outdoors, look after and enjoy our beautiful country. Sarah raised money for us with an epic expedition, paddle boarding, cycling and hiking across Wales. She organised clean-ups and fundraisers on her 430km journey, which also included a staggering 15 peaks.
