Nature is under threat and it’s time to take action

One in six species in Wales is under threat. It’s a shocking statistic but if we work together and take urgent action, we can reverse this decline.

We’re helping nature’s recovery by protecting hedgerows, planting dense native woodlands, and establishing biodiverse new gardens in our drive to create and restore green spaces.

Click on the boxes below to see how you can be involved and have a read of our new strategy Beautiful Wales to discover how we plan to address this issue between now and 2030. Read our strategy.

Our conservation projects

Of course, accessible green spaces provide important havens for people as well as wildlife. We want to provide a much-needed boost to the well-being of our communities by getting as many volunteers as possible involved in our conservation projects.
