Amid concerns about the pandemic, climate change, and the fragile global economy, we’ve seen an increase in people growing their own fruit, vegetables, and herbs.
We want to showcase the very best community food growing projects across Wales.
We are looking for food growing projects that have helped communities become more sustainable and resilient.
It could be a project that supplies fresh produce to local foodbanks or community kitchens. It might be a community orchard where residents are encouraged to ‘pick their own’ to boost their health and well-being. Or it could be an initiative that teaches people how to look after and harvest their own fruit and vegetables.
