A A A

Amid concerns about climate change and the fragile global economy, we’ve seen an increase in people growing their own fruit, vegetables, and herbs.

We want to showcase the very best community food growing projects across Wales.

Judges are looking for food growing projects that have increased the number of people who are able to access locally grown food. They are particularly keen to hear about projects that have helped communities to become more sustainable and resilient.

Nominations could include:

  • Projects that supply fresh produce to local foodbanks or community kitchens.
  • Community orchards where residents are encouraged to ‘pick their own’ to boost their health and wellbeing.
  • The creation of new community food growing gardens.
  • Initiatives that teach people how to look after and harvest their own fruit and vegetables.

With thanks to our Category Sponsor, Moondance Foundation.
