The event

In September 2025 Keep Wales Tidy proudly celebrated the inspiring people and projects helping to create a cleaner, greener nation at the Tidy Wales Awards, supported by headline sponsor Wales & West Housing.

Held at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, the ceremony brought together volunteers, community groups, schools and organisations from across Wales who are working tirelessly to improve their local environments. From tackling litter and restoring green spaces to creating community gardens and supporting nature recovery, the awards recognised the passion and dedication of Wales’ environmental champions.

Support from Wales & West Housing helped make the 2025 awards possible. As one of Wales’ largest housing associations, the organisation shares a commitment to building thriving, sustainable communities and empowering residents to take pride in the places they call home.

By supporting the awards, Wales & West Housing helped celebrate the incredible achievements of community groups across Wales while highlighting the power of collective action. Together with Keep Wales Tidy, the partnership champions practical environmental action and the volunteers who make it happen.

The stories behind the 2025 winners demonstrate just how much can be achieved when communities come together to care for their local environment.

“We are pleased to sponsor the Tidy Wales Awards, to celebrate the people who go out of their way to care for the environment. At Wales & West Housing Group we are passionate about making a difference to lives, homes and communities. We want our residents to be proud of the areas where they live… The Tidy Wales Awards play an important role in championing the volunteers, schools and organisations who help to make Wales an even more beautiful place for us and future generations.”

What did the sponsor gain?

Sponsoring the 2025 Tidy Wales Awards gave Wales & West Housing a high-profile platform to demonstrate its commitment to building thriving, sustainable communities. By supporting an event that celebrates local environmental action, the organisation strengthened its reputation as a values-led housing association investing in the places where its residents live.

The awards also generated strong social media engagement, with content shared widely online and reaching audiences across Wales. This provided valuable positive brand visibility, aligning Wales & West Housing with inspiring community stories and practical action.

In addition, the event secured extensive national, local and hyperlocal media coverage, ensuring the Wales & West Housing name was associated with uplifting, community-focused achievements. This broad exposure helped reinforce the organisation’s role as a supporter of resident pride, volunteering and environmental improvement, while building stronger connections with communities and stakeholders across Wales.
