Making a positive difference

We’re Keep Wales Tidy – the charity working across Wales to protect our environment for now and for the future.

We have a collective vision of a beautiful Wales cared for and enjoyed by everybody.

Practically, we know that a good quality environment matters to people and that the benefits can make a real difference to our health, well-being, communities and to our economy.

And as an added bonus it is great for nature too.

Final free garden packs up for grabs from Local Places for Nature

Since 2020, more than 900 green spaces across the country have been created, restored and enhanced. Community groups and organisations of all shapes and sizes got involved – from disability charities and youth groups to social enterprises and carer groups.

This is your chance to reverse nature’s decline and provide an important boost to the well-being of your local community at the same time.

We want to make it as easy as possible for people to get involved. So, we’ve designed a choice of packages tailored to different community groups and organisations.

What we do

Our work ranges far and wide – from practical action and environmental education, to setting standards for parks and beaches.
