We know that a good quality environment matters to people, and the benefits can make a real difference to health, well-being, communities and to our economy – and as an added bonus it is great for nature too.
For 50 years, we have been creating spaces that feel safe, clean, and green through schemes like Local Places for Nature; we have inspired generations of children through our Eco-Schools programme, raised standards in environmental excellence with our Blue Flag, Green Flag and Green Key Awards; and fostered links with government with our award-winning anti-litter and waste programme Caru Cymru. In the face of the climate crisis, biodiversity loss and pollution, we have informed government policy and developed projects that support positive sustainable action.

We’re looking for a Community Communications Officer to help us reach more people and tell everybody about the fantastic work that we’re doing with volunteers through our key programmes.
If you are happy in a busy team which is excited by new and creative ideas (but still values the importance of detail); love working with a wide range of different people (sometimes at unsociable hours and in far-flung areas of Wales) and have the motivation and confidence to go out there and tell everybody about the fantastic work that we are doing – then maybe this is the job for you.
We’re proud to be a Disability Confident Employer. We will guarantee an interview to any applicant who declares that they have a disability and who has demonstrated that they meet the minimum essential criteria for our roles.
