Ready to see your impact?

Our Community Impact Map lets you see the incredible work that passionate individuals, groups and organisations are doing to care for the Welsh environment.

The activities have been recorded by Litter Champions, community groups, Litter Picking Hubs, Litter Free Zones and partners on our eCount Cymru reporting system.

It’s a way to see the big picture and celebrate the power of volunteering!

The map and figures below included everyone’s recorded activities since 2019.

At first, it’ll show a snapshot of activities that have taken place across Wales over the past month, but it’s easy to adjust what you see.

Here’s your guide to exploring the map:

  • Zoom in and out using the + and - symbols or your fingers.
  • Use the filter icon to refine what you see. You can choose to filter by activity type, date, search by group or organisation, local authority and even ward.
  • Click on the book icon to see the data in a table. If you are using filters, these will be applied here too. You can use the actions button (four circles icon) to export the data.
  • Click on the clipboard icon to see our headline statistics for Wales.
  • Click on the question mark icon for our map key.

If you have any questions or need further help, please get in touch with our Data Team at data@keepwalestidy.cymru

Some important small print!

Please note, the Community Impact Map does not show ‘live’ information as it takes time to collate, check and analyse the data. We’ll try to update this weekly but please bear with us.

If you’d like to remove your data from the map, just drop the team an email at data@keepwalestidy.cymru. You’re always in control.

At Keep Wales Tidy we are proud to operate bilingually and are committed to developing our use of the Welsh language. Data on the Community Impact Map appears in the language it was submitted.

Unfortunately, as we are using an external platform to display this data, we don’t have the capability to provide a completely bilingual service. We will continue to look for ways to improve this.
