Join the Tidy Team for an engaging one-hour training session designed to increase knowledge and confidence in helping young children understand litter and its impact on the environment.
What will be covered in the session?
The session explores what litter is, where it comes from, the scale of the problem and why people may drop it, as well as where discarded items can end up and the harm they can cause to wildlife.
Through interactive games and quizzes, practitioners will discover simple, age-appropriate ways to spark discussion and curiosity. Participants will also explore adaptable activities and resources that encourage children to identify litter, consider why it is harmful and take positive action to care for their surroundings.
We’ll be hosting sessions in English and Welsh:
- English – 5 November 2026, 1.00pm-2.00pm
- Welsh – 6 November 2026, 1.00pm-2.00pm
