Our orchard packages have been designed for organisations looking to create small community orchards on land that is in ‘not for profit ownership’.  We know that you may not have any prior experience of community orchards, so we’ll help you to plan and construct growing areas, and support you in planting, looking after and harvesting your new crops.

The minimum area required for this package is is 320 square metres. The variety of trees and plants supplied will depend on the season and availability.

This is a large-scale project, so please make sure you read our frequently asked questions (FAQs) before applying.

You can now apply for Local Places for Nature online. Register your details to set up an account. Then login, choose the package you’d like, and complete the six steps. Just make sure to answer every question and upload all the required photos and written evidence.

Don’t worry if you can’t complete your application in one go – you can always save your progress and return to it later. Alternatively, you can still fill out a Word version of the form and submit that to the same email address – download the Word version here.

If you have any trouble completing the form, we’re here to help Just email nature@keepwalestidy.cymru and a member of the team will be in touch.
