The importance of clean, green, and safe spaces shouldn’t be underestimated. They play a vital role in people’s health and happiness, as well as the strength of our communities.
This award recognises projects that have transformed disused or rundown outdoor areas into thriving community spaces.
We want to hear about transformation projects of all shapes and sizes. It might be that a new park has been created on overgrown land. Maybe an urban garden has been created in a disused alleyway. Or perhaps a pathway has been restored and made fully accessible.
It is about celebrating how these projects have had a positive impact on the community.
