Being the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon attracts many tourists throughout the Spring and Summer months. With this, comes a spike in litter and waste on the mountain during this popular period.
Come help us tackle a clean-up on Snowdon on April 3 and see some amazing sights. We’ve teamed up with Snowdonia National Park Authority to tackle the peak and leave our beautiful scenery looking spotless this Spring Clean Cymru.
All equipment will be provided for you. All you need to bring is some sensible footwear, warm clothing, gloves and a big smile.
“Although the Caru Eryri / Care for Snowdonia volunteering scheme will be returning soon, the Spring Clean Cymru campaign is a great opportunity to get out into the hills to clean up any litter before the busy season returns, as litter attracts litter!
Etta Trumper Volunteer and Well-Being Officer for Snowdonia National Park Authority
We are pleased to take part in the campaign and support the amazing work of Keep Wales Tidy. As always, thank you to everyone that’s helping to protect Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon, keeping the environment safe and exceptional for all to enjoy. Remember, what goes up, must come down”.
Numbers will be limited so please be sure to register through Snowdonia National Park Authority’s website here.
