Join us for a Marine Spring Clean beside the sea at Kinmel Bay

This April, as part of Spring Clean Cymru, we’ve teamed up with the Marine Conservation Society to help tackle litter on the beach in Kinmel Bay.

During the Marine Conservation Society’s annual Great British Beach Clean last year, the charity saw 6,176 volunteers take part with 130 bags of litter collected across beaches in Wales.

Join us on April 3 and head out across the beach to collect and record the litter you find using the Marine Conservation Society’s litter survey.

“The Marine Conservation Society are proud to be working alongside Keep Wales Tidy to deliver this flagship event for Spring Clean Cymru 2022. Year on year, we continue to find and record hundreds of litter items on our beaches, posing a threat to people, wildlife and our ocean. Our event at Kinmel Bay will see organisations and communities coming together to help keep our beautiful environment clean, safe and healthy. We hope you can join us!”
