Protect and Restore Nature

The natural world is incredible and has evolved to be in perfect balance, with every living thing playing an important role.

Sadly, nature is under threat and the actions of human beings are having a negative impact on habitats both locally and globally.

Thankfully, nature gives us the solutions to many of the challenges that our planet faces!

Working with and restoring nature helps our climate; it helps provide clean water, clean air and creates a waste-free world!

For this challenge you could consider:

  • Species threatened locally and how to support them
  • Nature based solutions
  • How to avoid deforestation and take action to reforest
  • Regenerative farming and growing your own food
  • Creating habitats

Submissions for Climate Challenge Cymru 2026 have now closed.
