Eco-Schools: Our Earth; Our Future

A conference for young people in Y10-Y13 who are passionate about creating a sustainable future and leading the change in their school.

Are you ready to walk the climate walk not just talk the climate talk? Eco-Schools Wales, Swansea University and Bangor University would like to invite you to the ‘OurEarth; OurFutureConference.

The conference will take inspiration from young changemakers across Wales to inspire and empower participants to create sustainable change within their school. Learners will also gain valuable insights into emerging employment in green jobs.

The speakers, along with the workshops, will equip learners with the tools, ideas and confidence to enact change within their school and community.

The morning will focus on the five Earthshot themes:

  • Protect and Restore nature
  • Clean Our Air
  • Revive Our Oceans
  • Build a Waste Free World
  • Fix Our Climate

In the afternoon, we consider ‘green jobs’- what are they and what sort of career choices could lead us into a ‘green job’? This will include a panel event with speakers from a wide range of sectors.

We are encouraging schools to bring up to 10 learners to the event.
