Garden Packages

Our Garden Packages are for community-based organisations looking to create larger-scale projects. All sorts of community organisations can apply – from social enterprises, youth groups and faith groups, to charities and registered social landlords.

Our two Garden Packages have been designed to not only give nature a helping hand but also benefit people’s health and wellbeing. The aim is to bring communities together, encourage people to volunteer outdoors and create green spaces for everyone to enjoy.

All packages include training, advice, practical help and support to install the new areas, as well as tools, materials and equipment to care for them long-term.

Applications will be assessed by a panel of experts and priority will be given to projects with strong community involvement, those in towns, cities, deprived areas and spaces with little or no access to nature.

A fabulous project which has gone down really well with the local community. We are all raring to go sowing and growing in our wonderful new space, a place to sustain wild life and biodiversity as well as to feed us humans, created by the great Keep Wales Tidy team and with the help and participation of our core volunteers, from 12-75 years of age!

The garden will now enable us to help people suffering with food poverty in the surrounding areas by supplying them with fresh and nutritious fruit and vegetables and also teach visitors the importance of different fruits and veg for pollinators. Thank you Keep Wales Tidy for your help and support with this project.
