Mini Garden Packages

Our Mini Garden Packages are small gardening projects. Any community or volunteer group can apply – you don’t even need a bank account or constitution!

Each one includes all the native plants, tools and materials you’ll need; guidance on how to install the garden, and a small amount of Keep Wales Tidy officer time to provide extra advice and support.

Applications are assessed regularly by project grant panels.

Residents of Awel y Dyffryn and the children from Ysgol Twm o'r Nant thoroughly enjoyed working together to start the food growing section of the garden, we already have ideas on how to expand to grow more fruit, vegetables and herbs and the children are looking forward to returning in spring to see how the plants have grown!

With our wildlife pack from Keep Wales Tidy we’ve seen intergenerational activity, with the local community coming together to build a wildflower garden. Local residents can now relax, garden and enjoy nature while their children play safely.
