Do something different this new year! Join us as we team up with the Gwent Wildlife Trust for a week of volunteering in Blaenau Gwent!

What’s happening?

From Sunday 11 January to Friday 16 January, we’ll be running a series of litter picking and biodiversity activities across Blaenau Gwent – and we’d love for you to join us!

  • Sunday 11 January, 10:00-12:00: litter pick with Keep Wales Tidy and Keeping Tredegar Tidy at Bedwellty Pits, Tredegar.
  • Monday 12 January, 11:00-13:00: litter pick and nature based activities with Keep Wales Tidy, Gwent Wildlife Trust and Friends of Parc Nant y Waun at Parc Nant y Waun, Brynmawr.
  • Tuesday 13 January, 10:00-12:00: visit to community garden and litter pick along the Ebbw Fach Trail with Keep Wales Tidy and Aberbeeg Community Centre.
  • Wednesday 14 January, 12:00-14:00: litter pick with Keep Wales Tidy, Gwent Wildlife Trust and One Life Autism at Hilltop, Ebbw Vale.
  • Friday 16 January, 10:00-12:00: litter pick along Nant Melyn Brook and nature based actvities with Keep Wales Tidy, Gwent Wildlife Trust and Rassau Resource Centre.
