Celebrating and rewarding volunteers

We know volunteers don’t always get the recognition they deserve – and we’re here to change that.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with Tempo Time Credits, a charity that helps people from all backgrounds get involved in volunteering and rewards them for their incredible contributions.

Through this partnership, volunteers can earn Tempo Time Credits and exchange them for a huge variety of services and activities – from cinema tickets and days out to café treats and gym sessions.

How Tempo Time Credits Work

The idea is simple:

1. Give your time by volunteering
2. Earn Tempo Time Credits as a thank you.
3. Use them on doing something fun!

We’re inviting community groups and Litter Champions to join the Keep Wales Tidy team and start turning their time into rewards.

Community groups: set up your own Tempo account and manage a bank of credits to share with your members.

Litter Champions: create an account to start earning and spending your own Time Credits.

Here are a few important things to know before you get started:

  • Time Credits are completely free of charge, with no hidden costs for individuals or groups.
  • Volunteers do not need to sign up for a set period of time.
  • Time Credits have no impact on an individual state benefits.
  • There is no age limit.
  • Time Credits are digital but volunteers not on email can receive a membership card.
