Butterfly Conservation

10/07/2024 @ 17:00 - 18:00

Wales is home to over 40 butterfly species and over 1,800 moth species. Sadly, due to the change in climate and green spaces available, these numbers are declining.

Those pretty butterflies and moths in your garden are indicators of a healthy environment and healthy ecosystems. Which is why it’s crucial for local communities to protect these beautiful insects and make a positive difference to the environment. Some moth species have been discovered across Wales for the very first time in recent years.

Join us for this FREE webinar to learn about butterfly conservation and the steps we can take to protect these species.

We’ll be joined by Alan Sumnall, Head of Conservation Wales and Northern Ireland at Butterfly Conservation Wales. He’ll take us through how we can get involved in our gardens and green spaces to benefit and protect butterflies and moths.

The online session, delivered in English, is taking place from 17.00-18.00 on Wednesday 10 July.

Book your place by filling out the registration form below. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with the webinar link. Please doublecheck your junk or spam folders if you haven’t received this. If there are any problems, please get in touch with the team. Email nature@keepwalestidy.cymru
